About Us
Our mission is simple. We want to produce wines of highest distinction, quality and elegance that our land and winemaker will give us. These are wines that we feel proud to sell to our customers, give to our friends, and truly enjoy drinking ourselves.
We will always respect the land in return by not using pesticides, biocides, chemical fertilizers or antibiotics in any stage of our farming or supply chain.
We believe that our Biodynamic and Organic farming methods help us to achieve this goal, while respecting the land and plants from which it came.

Grimm’s Bluff itself is a dedication to quality, heritage, and place. Founded by Rick and Aurora Grimm in 2010, Grimm’s Bluff was built with the intention of making premium wine through the respect of time and process. Sitting 300 ft above the Santa Ynez riverbed, the Estate consists of 16.5 acres of Demeter certified, biodynamically farmed Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. With the guidance of Paul Lato as head winemaker, the wines produced are a tribute to the old world with both their character and finesse.
